The salary band for this role is £45,000 to £58,000 (FTE) depending on prior experience and allowing room for growth within the role.

About the role
Wanstead are looking for a veterinary surgeon who is wanting to grab the opportunity to gain invaluable hospital experience, and step into this full-time GP role at Wanstead Hospital in East London.
The team are looking for a competent GP vet who is able to jump straight in with routine surgeries, including bitch spays and dentals.
Wanstead Veterinary Hospital provides an excellent first opinion, emergency, critical care, and referral service to our clients and local network of 20 branches and works to the highest clinical standards.
There is state of the art diagnostic support, with a CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all available on site.
You will be fully supported by a team of experienced hospital vets including a senior medic/ECC and GP vet, our incredible nursing team made up of experienced RVN's, students, nursing assistants and front of house team, as well as on site clinical managers.
Your rota will be on a 6 weekly rotational basis made up of an average of 40 hours per week, inclusive of your weekend rotation. This will enable you to work within all departments of the hospital, ranging across consulting, surgery, ward and ECC.
Wanstead itself is on the outskirts of leafy Essex, but has quick and direct transport links that take you straight into all areas of London! There is a bustling café and restaurant culture in Wanstead so you will never be short of places to visit for a treat.
