The support team including an amazing senior nurse all  trained at Tottenham so they know the practice inside out, and you will be joining a truly special team.This is an Associate position that has a manageable caseload for a confident GP first opinion vet to step into. Your Friday will allow you to comfortably balance your morning consultations, perform routine surgeries during the day, catch up on admin and then round up with evening consults, with your additional day providing an overlap with the other vet in practice and a chance to discuss cases.This role involves an average of 20 hours per week with Friday being a fixed day (with a possible early finish or late start on an additional day TBC) plus a 1:4 branch Saturday morning and 1:8 Hospital Sunday rotation. About your new role!

Our float veterinary nursing assistant role is an ideal position for someone who has extensive prior experience within the veterinary industry, has completed their Level 2 VCA course and may not be in the position to commit to the Diploma training right now.

​Being a float position you will help support the various branches within the Central London area where the needs of the rota dictate, this could be covering holiday, days off or sick leave etc. Due to the nature of the float role, flexibility is a necessity.

The VNA role is 40 hours per week and includes a regular Saturday rotation. Prior animal care and client care experience is essential due to the integral support you would be providing to the teams. Our Level 2 Veterinary Care Support (VCS) Apprenticeship role is an ideal stepping stone for those who see themselves in the veterinary care environment, with this qualification providing the initial key skills. Furthermore, this is a stepping stone for those looking for that next training step working ever closer to becoming a registered veterinary nurse.

The VCS positions are full-time consisting of 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, including your weekly college day plus a regular weekend rotation. For Stone Lion this is 1:3 weekends, plus up to 2 bank holidays per year, for Kennington it is 1:4 Saturdays. If in a hospital position, there will also be a fair share bank holiday requirement. Your average 20.12 hourly week is inclusive of a 1:3 branch Saturday morning, and 1:8 hospital Sunday rotation. You will be rota ‘d to 1 bank holiday per year in Mandeville Hospital.
