One of our fabulous night vets will be starting their parenting journey in the new year, and we are looking for a competent ECC vet to take the reins on nights for a fixed 12-month period, in our Stone Lion Hospital in Wimbledon.About your new role!Stone Lion Veterinary Hospital offers a well-rounded caseload of routine procedures, emergency, and critical care, as it not only has its own first opinion client base, but also supports the surrounding Goddard practices for internal referral cases that require hospital expertise.The hospital also provides specialist work with an orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeon, cardiologist, and physiotherapist, giving you peace of mind knowing you can refer any admitted night patients that may require more specialist treatment to your in-house day team.Our new night colleague will be no stranger to sole charge night shifts, having ideally worked in the ECC environment before and is confident in managing ward cases and emergency surgeries that may arise during the night. About your new role!

Mandeville Hospital is RCVS accredited and is a busy, expanding first-opinion centre, offering a 24 -hour service to their clients, as well as referral services to the practice’s nearby branch surgeries. We are also able to offer the services of RCVS Specialists in Ophthalmology, Diagnostic Imaging including CT facilities and Dermatology.

​We are seeking a vet who is no stranger to hospital life and thrives in an ECC environment. Your rota will involve a 4-day week, plus a 1:4 Saturday and 1:8 Sunday rotation. There are NO on-call requirements for this position. You will be rota ‘d to 1 bank holiday in the 12-month period.

​You will be fully supported by senior clinical management on site.

There is fantastic diagnostic support at Wanstead, with a CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery on site.You will be working alongside a large team consisting of approximately 25 vets, 27 RVNs, 14 SVNs, 7 VCAs and a large front of house team who are integral in maintaining excellent client care.

Your rota will include a 1:4 weekend rotation with TOIL and up to 3 bank holidays per year.
